"Started with sparks of curiosity and community, Craic Sauce has a commitment to creating local sourced hot sauces with balance, depth and lots of fresh flavor. Craic Sauce founder Brian Ruhlmann discovered his passion for craft hot sauce after experimenting with his first batch using pumpkin, habaneros and golden ghost peppers grown in his Massachusetts garden. In 2014, after moving to Ireland, Brian started his website and interviewed inspirational hot sauce makers from around world for his podcast and blog. Three years later in 2017, following his move back to the US, Brian took his obsession to the next level and began producing Craic Sauce, a collection of flavorful and unique hot sauces.
Craic (pronounced “crack”) is an Irish word that means good times and fun. Having good craic was the guiding light of his new business, a value that is still essential to Brian and his crew today, who make their small batch hot sauces by hand in Lowell, Massachusetts."

Fit for the Irish High King Brian Boru, this turmeric enriched curry hot sauce brings rich powerful flavors from fermenting local farm sourced produce. Craic Sauce harvests seasonal lemongrass, sungold tomatoes, fresh turmeric with the bright flavored Scotch Bonnet and Hungarian Wax peppers which has fermented for just over six months.

Mill City Red:
Mill City Red is a Louisiana-style sauce with the added zing of fermentation, inspired by the blend of cultures and cuisines among the red bricks of Craic Sauce's hometown of Lowell, Massachusetts.

Ingredients: Red chili peppers (cayenne, fresno, red habanero), vinegar, golden and chioggia beets, onion, carrots, garlic, salt, brown sugar


Clark Farm Harvest:  With the 2022 fall frost approaching and hundreds of peppers still on the vine, Clark Farm in Carlisle, Mass approached Craic Sauce about crafting a special hot sauce made only with seasonal ingredients from the farm. 

Embrace the sour and tang from this fermented blend of organic hot peppers, golden beets, carrots and red onions from Clark Farm. 

Uses:  Add a teaspoon of this sauce to savory meals to bring a balanced and complex flavor. Great on sandwiches, salads or nachos.

Dark as the Merrimack River on a moonless night, this savory sauce uses F-Word Farm hand-crafted vinegar created from Navigation Brewery's Black Pepper Porter, a medley of smoked and caramelized ingredients, with the confluence of heat from the chocolate scorpion pepper. 

It is a thick sauce with a dense flavor. Equal parts smoky, savory and sweet.

Uses:  Add some to a beef stew, great adding to pizza, spread onto a sandwich. Great to cook with and add and mix into food right before eating.
